Hi, I’m Katie
Product designer, UX/UI designer, Interaction designer...
Our line of work has a million different names depending on who you ask, but no matter the label — I have a knack for tackling complex problems and turning them into custom, simple, intuitive experiences.
My specialization is in leading the design of AI driven experiences, large scale self-service/ workflow tools on web & mobile, accessibility copywriting, branding and more. I thrive in ambiguity, love uncovering pain points through research, and enjoy leading projects that push the boundaries of conventionality.
What drives me
I believe that great design doesn’t just look good — it operates simply and solves meaningful problems. The most rewarding part of product design is the impact my work has on real people. Bad design ruins people's days and sometimes even worse! It's fulfilling to know that not only do I prevent bad days, but improve them.
Outside of work
When I’m not designing, you will probably find me doing one of my hobbies like oil painting, sewing, cooking, camping, reading a design book that is no longer in print, or sharing insights with the design community on Medium. My eagerness to learn new things fuels my creativity, and I bring that same passion to my work.
